Great Italian Cheese Made in the Philippines

Wanting to offer Italian style products to the Philippines, In 1993 we initially started with producing canned and bottled seafoods, ranging from Clams in Brine to Anchovied Sardines in Olive Oil under the brand name Realpesca. We also imported and distributed Italian pasta and Canned Whole Tomatoes. When we encountered the continuous decline of local seafood, we began looking for other products to consider producing but still stay to our goal of making Italian products locally.

In 2008, Mercanti Veneziani Trading was created and registered under the Countryside Barangay Business Enterprise (CBBE) under Republic Act 6810 known as Kalakalan 20. and with the sister company, Prism Import-Export, Inc.'s entry into cattle farming, our efforts were shifted to Dairy Processing. In 2014, Mercanti Veneziani Trading started producing our Italian-styled cheeses through milk gathered from crossbred Holstein-Sahiwal cows from both New Zealand and Australia.  As by virtue of sustainable farming practices and to ensure high-quality milk, the cattle's diet consists of grass without any added chemicals.

With unending research and development to try to be an equal or even better than its Italian counterpart, Mercanti Veneziani's goal is to be the first to locally produce quality Italian Style Cheeses in Negros and the rest of the Philippines. With more people aware of the health benefits of having quality products, our ultimate goal is to provide a stable income to the local community and emphasize the importance that we are capable of producing natural products right in our doorstep.
